Fuming Crazy
First, I have to admit that the above photo is not mine. It's one that I filched from my sister because I lent her my older camera to use when she went on a field trip to Pulau Ubin some time back. I'm only using it because I haven't been taking any photos and the next couple of photos I'm posting are purely for visual evidence and were taken with my handphone camera. In the ordinary course of things, I would never put up stuff of this quality but too bad, I didn't have my camera with me today.
Meaning that this is to neutralize the ugliness of the next two photos.
Physics in the morning was noxious.
The management of the shopping centre decided to fog the inside of the centre today in the early morning when no one was around and all the shops except LanLab were closed.
The whole place was misty and cloudy especially since the ventillation wasn't that good. Went to the entrance to open the door only to find that the surrounding area had been fumigated too. Eeyucks.
When we went into the shop room and the airconditioning was turned on, more white fumes oozed out of the ceiling vent, like, like, like the HCl fumes produced when carboxylic acids or organic alcohols react with phosphorous pentachloride. XP
I decided to have lunch at one of the food-houses along Cheong Chin Nam road because it was so near. Ordered a $4 plate of seafood Ipoh hor fun.
The portion was quite enormous. The meat is supposed to be tender and chewable you know. Not like the rubbery elastic that the Arrjay uncle would have everyone believe. And there are no weird curly hairs in the food.
In the bus, I was looking out the window when I saw this brown bird gliding around. It's either an eagle or a kite. Could be a Brahminy Kite. (Sorry, I did tell you that the photos were crap. I know the dot could be a UFO or Superman's underwear falling through the sky but take my word for it, it's an avian of some sort.)
I tried to rescue this small earthworm writhing around in the dry and sunny part of a drain but when I looked away from something to pick it up with, it mysteriously disappeared. Very strange.
Oh, Lin-in-the-Bin showed me this interesting thingy: http://thesurrealist.co.uk/trivia.pl?. Type a name in and see what happens. Some of the results sound rather innuendo-ish. But it seems programmed to be nicer to females than guys.
