Silky Celadon Water

A pleasing, holiday-mood relaxing view. This is Sungei Api Api at Pasir Ris Park. It means "Fire River". Why do I like this photo so much? I don't know. It seems unusually dramatic. A monitor lizard. The sinuous ribbony movement caught my eye. This mudskipper kept fleeing whenever I approached, so I wised up and waited for a tide to wash it about, and later it simply hopped back near me.
