Tsukiyomied

I'm in a baaaaad state for maths. I need a tutor methinks. I was taking pictures of a park near my home in the rain. The swings looked so unearthly. The fulgent eye of the blazing street lamp smoulders quietly, liquid lava seeping in drips and drops down its side, as the luminescence claws haplessly at the tendrils of midnight that snake and twine around the posts in their serpentine way. From the crepuscular shadows creeps a wispy faint breeze, barely enough to twitch a stray leaf. The swing chains groan. The wraith-like shadows they cast upon the ground begin to rock. Back, forth, to, fro. The swings swing with ever increasing speed, in their rider-less way. Suddenly, the top bar breaks. As driving frequency was equal to the natural frequency of the swings, resonance occurs and the maximum amount of energy was transferred from unseen ectoplasmic entities to the swings, resulting in the swing breaking. Kthx. I know I'm good.

Actually, when I'd gotten here, the people sitting in the nearby shelter whom I'd been oblivious to, asked me while laughing hysterically, in a Malay accent, what I was taking photos of. I pointed to the swing vaguely and said: "Swing." Brilliant, aren't I? XP. Frankly speaking, I think they thought that I "wasn't quite right up there". So, I took just one last photo and went off. Hopefully it was dark enough so that they didn't see my face too well. Haha. I do eccentric things sometimes. But, nothing ventured, nothing gained, and the only way that I can differentiate my photos is by doing stuff that other people don't.

I saw a shop that sells Nintendo GameBoys and game accessories on the top floor of Junction 8 screening Naruto on its big TV screen today! The employees were "jiak chuaing" and watching the Dattebayo-subbed episode where the Genins run off to rescue Sasuke. Hmm.

Hmm. It's Teacher's Day in five minutes! I never really bothered about it in primary school. I still remember how I was made to sing, along with about 300 other ten-year-olds: "Oh, oh oh HAP PEE TEA CHER'S DAYOH OH OH", repeating it ad nauseam.

I think I'll go back see my sec. school teachers tomorrow.

I got small gifts and cards for three of my teachers. For my math teacher, whom I suspect overheard me calling a HK country bumpkin and showed no sign of it, I got a Hershey's almond bar and a polite card. For my Chem teacher, I got a Cookies 'n Creme Hershey's bar and a card saying: "I hope this sweetens your mouth so that you'll scold us less in future!" For my Chinese teacher, who kindly let me sleep for the whole period today because I told her I was sick, I got a chinese Teacher's Day card and a packet of ginseng throat-soothing candy. I wrote in horrible Chinese: Sorry for my lousy Chinese. I know that we never do homework and you always have to scold us until your saliva dries up, so here's a packet of sweets to soothe your throat. :) (Smiley included).

My Bio teacher's on MC, and my G.P. tutor probably won't care very much. I did think about getting my Phys/Civ(ics) Tutor a card but thought that he probably won't turn up as usual. Haha.
