Just Not To Waste Your Time

Hullo hullo,

Just not to waste your time typing my URL, I'll probably not update till after 7th October. Any posts between now and then are bonuses. GO AND MUG! :(

oo. My Sec 2 Form Teacher was featured in Sunday's Lifestyle Section - 25th September. You can read a version here if you're lazy to go flip: http://mielblog.blogspot.com/2005/09/book-review-book-review-by-miel-st.html. Lol. Wacky fellow. Though the paper reported wrongly; he's not from Cat High, but Chinese High. Still, he did say that he was quite pleased with the rest of the article.

And I found the blog of one of my ex-NCC juniors, currently the incumbent RI head-boy (unless they've had their passing-over ceremony already).

"I had a bad omen last night - a nightmare. It sounds pretty ridiculous, but it might be a bad omen. I was taking this Biology quiz, that had four questions. Each of the questions was broken into part-questions that were essentially statements that I had to answer. Question 1 was the longest, the list of statements to answer took up the whole first page. Question 2-4 were printed on the reverse side of the paper. I was doing the paper, and apparently halfway through, I lost concentration, similar to how I have described as happening in real life, above. I regained concentration later, but soon time was up, and I had not even started on Question 4. Question 4. Zero marks. Zero. 0."

Oh gawd. This screams HERMIONE GRANGER. Doesn't mean that the head of the supposedly nerdy geek school has to be a paradigm of no-lifedness right.

"And for breakfast and lunch today, I failed to split the wooden chopsticks nicely. I don't think I have failed to break the chopsticks cleanly for two consecutive times, ever. Failed. Never ever. Failed."

"There we also went all ga-ga over the various offerings they had, mostly of the NT brand. Circular cutters, a penknife that could hold 5 blades, and a black (and gold - Black Gold!) penknife that used a screw-lock release mechanism for the blade, so there is no 'tak-tak-tak' sound when you slide out the blade. Perfect for the silent kill? Heh, just kidding lah, it's just quite cool and slick to have a penknife that is noiseless. Come on, don't you hate noise as well?"

"But I woke up this morning, tried to transfer a voice recording onto the computer, and failed miserably. A great way to remind myself of the miserable days ahead."

Sigh. Point made.
