Thursdays In MRTs

Today was interesting.

I got a pencil case for my classmate who's birthday is next week.

On the way home, I was approached by this guy at the bus interchange. I was about to wave 'no' and walk off but he asked me to fill in a small survey form. I was momentarily flummoxed. "Just fill in the form?" I asked. So I felt kindly enough to bother.

I'd only just made the first couple of ticks when he asked me if i watched anime and what I watched. "Naruto", I mumbled, squinting in suspicion. (Editor's Note: Omigosh the language is a bit retarded ahahaha)

So, he said that they had this mini contest thing where if you can answer some anime questions right, you earn a mini prize. "Okay." I replied.

He asked me to pick a number. At this point, I must confess that I cheated a bit because I saw him holding this calendar-like thing with the words "08 - Bleach" printed on one side so I didn't pick eight because I can't be bothered to watch Bleach. Heh.

"Three." "Hmm, you picked erm, Fullmetal Alchemist." Lucky me ahahaha. Pwnage.

So I picked the answers for three MCQ questions and got a strange orange sweet that looked nice but the ingredients said 'Prunes' so ick. My lucky mortal gets a gift tomorrow! Haha ;\

Then he started telling me about how he was from this organization that was holding an anime fair thing with live bands playing anime music and selling Japanese food at Saint Andrew's Cathedral and so I saw where this conversation was heading. So, I told him that thanks but your event is smack in the middle of my exams so thank you for the sweet and byebye.

I don't appreciate proselytism but this was a pretty mild approach and I profited by a sweet so, yayness, I winzness! Haha.

Ah well, besides that it was a rather boringly typical day so not much to say.

Oh, I read Mitch Albom's "Tuesdays With Morrie" and it was good. Very good.
