I've Been Poisoned!
By my tamaleh best friend who sold me some ice-cream to raise funds for poverty-stricken children in India. He scooped some squishy ice-cream from the middle of the tub for me and some almost liquid ice cream from the top.
Ten minutes later I came back to complain to my tamaleh because he had served my classmate a hair in his ice-cream and found out that some idiot had earlier left the top of the ice-cream freezer open. That was why all the ice-creams looked so partly melted. They were only selling two out of the five flavors they had because they decided that the middle three tubs were too melted to be sold. Although he wasn't the culprit, neeeeermal my tamaleh friend had been clueless about all this throughout, and was happily dishing out ice-creams and collecting money. I thought I was in the clear because my ice-cream had been from one of the saleable tubs.
Incidentally, I managed to piss off another of my tamaleh friend's comrades to tell me to shut the bloody f@#& up because I was complaining about the hair in the ice-cream quite loudly and the girl buying an ice-cream at that time looked quite disgusted.
I changed my mind during the Biology lecture half an hour later that the club members' opinions were anything to go by when I went to puke because the ice-cream was making me feel distinctly queasy. Ironically, the lecture was on food biotech and how food can get contaminated and give food poisoning etcetc. Lol.
On the way home, I saw that their ice-creams were largely unsold. On hindsight, maybe I shouldn't have caused such trouble to my friend who was only helping poor Indian children.
However, he did give me a tummy-ache and as one of my classmates said, hindsight backside la! haha.
This is a further add-on a few hours after the above was written because blogger had some publishing problem. I've been reading my biotech notes while eating yoghurt and I must say that it gives a whole new appreciation of the technology. You can't infect yourself while studying medical biotech can you?
Blogger's still faulty and a thousand other people are complaining about it online so I have no idea when this will become readable.
