Carnivorous Sheep

Well, I've gotten my hands on Dark Lord Of Derkholm, another D.W. Jones book and its made for pretty entertaining reading so far.

The pet shop at the place I go to for Physics had fresh livestock arriving today. I watched the uncle unload pretty standard damselfish and some two really fat parrotfish. He also had a small hand-sized catshark and a shark's egg purse with the live embryo squirming inside. I'd probably have bought the $22 shark immediately and set up a tank for it in the past, but now I'm too lazy to bother. I'll stick with photography of nice things.

I tried taking a direct bus from Bukit Timah to Tamp today and it took about as long as the train did. It went through Little India and I watched them little Indians going about their business. It also passed through Geylang, but I was sitting on the wrong side of the bus to see which lorongs had cameras.
