Harry Potter And The Bloody Half-Prince

The empty swampy lagoon at East Coast Park that they say will be a water sports lake soon. Another view below. Just read Harry Potter and HBF in about 4-5 hours. The story was rather okay. Not too great though - a little predictable. The inter-character interaction is amusing and quite skillfully done though. Rowling's books are becoming more like movie scripts 'cause she's anticipating the money-spinning movie adaptations. It's quite obvious that the killer Snape isn't all bad. Probably that sneaky old wizard Headmaster thought the whole thing out beforehand, and planned his own death, though he did slip up a bit. Ah well. I've been watching too many ninja and anime fights. People slip up badly. Then they dedicate a whole episode to explaining how everything was an elaborate trap and the horrified evil-doer gets owned. Whatever. Life goes on. And if I've spoiled the story for you, and you're upset, too bad. I personally like spoilers. heh.
