Full at Fullerton
Back to the wedding afternoon. I took this photo of the wedding car while biking back. It's a loaned Rolls-Royce, included by Fullerton in their wedding package. My cousin proudly informed me that it was one of only four in Singapore, and I was thinking "big deal". I got the impression that she was prouder of the car than of the person.
On the way to the One Fullerton. This is the underground travelator. It seems like a misdirected effort because the escalators weren't working.
Nice candles all around the ballroom area. I don't often get to snap candles.
More. Those are rose petals strewn all around the glass tables. I tried burning a rose petal when the staff weren't looking. It smelt sweet and plasticky.
Petals, with flash.
The wedding menu. Names erased to protect privacy, but I didn't do a very clean job.
Red and white roses. Reminded me of that fairytale about Snow White and Rose Red.
The koi pond in the basement.
A silver carp.
The interior of the One Fullerton.
Ha, dinner is served. I felt guilty about those poor sharks... but I felt hungry too. I got double servings of almost all the dishes because someone didn't turn up at our table, so a great-auntie pushed all the food to me. Mmm.
I was supposed to be sitting in the ballroom waiting for the next course but I went outside with my brother and P1 cousin instead, and they were running around waving the the koi in the pond. Then, this pond maintenance fellow came along to feed the fish, and he gave my brother and cousin the remaining pellet food in a little plastic bag. Nice guy. They were very happy to get to feed the fish. Those koi are disgusting gluttons. Drop one pellet in the water, and when one notices, all come along. I dropped a few pellets in front of me and then I could pet the koi, like dogs.
A phone. I directed the design but I didn't collect the flowers. lol. It's nice being the ty kor tai. Hahaha.
So I was sleepy when I got home, but processed the photos till 3am. Next post following up on yesterday's happenings.
