Rice And Chicken Stuffing
I randomed the title. Haha. Well, this was a lucky shot a few days back, from the top floor of a double-decker bus.
I just felt like taking a shot of this. It's not particularly nice or anything.
Some pigeons on the same day. Pecking at bread or something.
Ahah, so we get to today, where I took this in ArrAi.
Well, today was my juniors' Passing Out Parade, so I went down to see them with tamaleh, iggythecat and kqx. Err, I rushed down in a taxi because I was playing DotA before going then I left my home too late. I reached there to see my juniors marching out of the paradesquare but nevermind about that first.
The taxi-driver was this auntie who kept talking to me in a mix of mandarin, english and dialect(think Hokkien). It alternated every sentence before she settled on English. A police motorbike drove past the taxi, and she started telling me about how all these policemen like to catch poor taxi drivers who are just trying to earn money.
"Sometimes ah, all these policemen like to catch taxi drivers arh. Like a few days ago when I just overtook some cars. I mean, it's so boring to drive slowly, right ornot? Drive fast then got excitement what. Of course, you ask the passenger, then say slower safer, of course lah, but they also don't want it to be so boring right?"
I smiled and nodded and agreed, then fastened my seatbelt, which I don't like to do because I hate the feel of it. And prayed a bit.
Well, I survived, and she went on to ask me what level I was studying and and started to talk about her children, and her daughter mysteriously disappearing into her room but don't know do what, and never study one but still manages to get okay marks, and how children who want to study will study one, no need to push them, and how her son wastes her tuition fees because she asked him to teach his younger sister then he said that he had forgotten everything, and how those newspaper-ad tutors have dubious qualifications and anyhow charge one, yadda yadda yadda.
Actually, it was quite interesting, haha. I agreed with the newspaper-ad tutors thing.
Well then I got to ArrAi and saw the last bit of the parade, then they had their AGM, where we alummi sat at the back and talked rubbish and took photos. After that, the new teacher-in-charge wanted to talk to the juniors privately and we had to clear out. Then we went to find teachers to pester, such as mryappity.
After that it was McDonald's and home. I must remember to get mryappity something good next Teacher's Day because he refused to accept the payment for the english book thing.
Okay I'm getting bored of blogging now. Time to get back to SPA. DotA SPA. Byebye haha.
