Culture Vulture - Not!

Victoria Concert Hall - The stage before the performance. We went to support a classmate who was playing percussion there, and partly because the admission was free. He never told us that the full crowd was mostly primary school children coming in their classes. I ended up reading the Da Vinci Code on my hand phone during the parts where primary school children proudly played their instruments with the odd off-key note.

The seats after the performance.

Fullerton Hotel in the day. The concert hall is just nearby.

The Singapore River with a lone bumboat.

Singapore River, sans bumboat. Look at how breezy it is.

Photographing tourists photographing. I hope I was quick enough that they didn't even notice me.

This somewhat famous sculpture of children jumping into the Singapore River.

We went for a free lunch in Little India again after that, exploiting Tamaleh's papa again, then we went to Lumpy's house to slack around. Total cost of the day not including bus fare was $5 for dinner at the Adam Road Food Court. Haha. Cheapskate had to go off halfway while we were at Lumpy's house though because his dad had a car accident or something. His dad was at home when I called his house yesterday but his little sister was only discharged this morning from the hospital. It was just minor injuries I think but the hospital wanted to keep her under observation, so he spent last night sitting around in hospital.
