Flabbered Gasters
I just watched Singapore Idol. Some of them were complete jokes. Couldn't carry a tune for coconuts. Was quite surprised when D. Koh this rugger appeared in the NUS business school advert during the commercial break. I think Meryl whom Gary said was top 28th or something wasn't too bad though.
I was taking the train with Iggy and then he made this racist comment about his nose getting blocked up (because we were beside some Indian people) and I just went "Haiz" because I'd given up telling him to mind his mouth. Then a minute later, this diminutive Indian lady beside us asked if the next stop was Outram Park, and then started thanking us in fluent Chinese and told us about her son in the Singapore Navy currently in Iraq and how she was already sixty (but she didn't look it). Iggy's gasters were flabbered (ahah plagiarized) and I was a bit stunned but rather amused because I'd been telling him that some Indian people could speak Mandarin very well but he'd never listened. Then I kicked him a few times while sniggering after the friendly Indian lady shuffled out of the train thanking us extravagantly and he was still stunned.
I'll talk about going to Victoria Concert Hall on Saturday some other time. There should be photos coming up.

Flabbers sound like the saggy flabs of skin old people have. I like gasters better. Haha.
