Hello There, Big Boring World!

Bleah. Blah. Boo. Phtooey. Bah. Sigh. Zzz.

I haven't felt like writing anything here for a while because my life's so boring and the entries are starting to look like tabloid raw material. Which means pointless, ennui-generating crap. = - B. O. R. I. N. G. -

This probably means that I can never be a writer. I would most likely spend forever happily writing an introduction and a body, get jaded and finish everything off in five lines.

I suppose this comes from attempting to write something for the sake of writing something. Here, I mean. It would be nice to start writing nice descriptive essays with a plot instead of having to be nastily judgemental and pick everything to bits in a poky little GP essay. It feels so... mean somehow. Oh, I don't know. Maybe I'll ask random people for random topics one day and pick one to write a non-GP essay for kicks.

But back to the main point. The problem is that I'm lacking the spark of inspiration. Without that wee little spark, any work will lack the fire that makes it shine. I know it, but I can't do anything about it because inspiration can't be forced. I could churn out week after week of besotted gushing about my pet fish and what they ate in the morning - and I got three corals, a dwarf Ferrugatus angel and a dwarf Flavicauda angel yesterday so there's no likely shortage of that, hah! - but I wouldn't even bother reading it in the future so there's no point.

I'm only forcing myself to manufacture mindless rambling and it's making me increasingly feel like slithering out of writing anything. Talking about anything to do with exams is a no-no; its such an energy-draining subject.

Even noting down the little idiosyncracies of the strangers I see on the MRT and along the roadsides has lost its appeal. Anyway I'm not one to speak really since I guzzled down an entire Delifrance french loaf in sliced pieces while taking the MRT from Bishan today, much to the horror of the lady standing opposite. The unmasked taste of fresh bread is a subtle delicacy in itself. I hadn't had much lunch you see, and it was nearing dinner time and I had to walk quite a bit before that - oops, shouldn't digress. Okay I was being a greedy pig la.

I'm going to take some time off to dream. To live a little more instead of worrying about it. It's a hiatus of a sort, but I wouldn't call it that because I'm quite sure I'll be posting again much earlier than expected because there really isn't a shortage of viable posting material, just a problem with perception.

You see, that's because I've managed to find inspiration in talking about why I'm not inspired. Haha.
