UberHashbrowns
I went for the Friday the 13th interview. It is definitely a knee-jellifying experience to be faced with three SPF bigshots across this vast expanse of wooden table - in a room so silent that you could hear an ant cough. Being asked in several different ways about one's lack of leadership positions is an equally crushing ordeal. I think I botched it, but I'm not too bothered because I was just leeching EXP. points.
I can't imagine myself having to face those people in that kind of environment all day (and polish boots too). Maybe I should just go sign up with McDonalds and fry the best-est ultimat-est hashbrowns in the world. Or some hotel and do breakfasts because McDonalds' hashbrowns are fool-proof - dip in 370 deg. oil and fry for three minutes if they do it the french-fries way.
I just want to be reasonably rich to buy whatever and still have enough time for holidays. Bleah. Is that asking for too much? I need a backup plan.
Oh, I'm being more grammar-conscious too, because I showed my sec 4 teacher my gp essay - yes the one that topped the class muahahahaha :) - no, not the english teacher! - and he found many grammatical errors (holy cow!), as well as a grammatical mistake in a correction that the gp teacher who marked my script made too. Don't know what those GP dept. slackers are doing la. How mortifying. That's what happens when 99.99% of the english prose you read is from science notes that aim to get the point across in some of the most chopped-up angmoh you can get. If i'm not careful, my angmoh is going to rot till it's the same standard as my mandarin and then I'll speak Neanderthal. bah.
I managed to fool my clownfish into getting along a little better by blacking out the tank with newspaper. They stopped being too nasty to each other the next day and I got a little Pom Pom Crab and a Bicolor Dwarf Angel and now one clownfish is bunking with the bicolor angel in a little cave in the rocks. So sweet. Hope the big furry worms that crawl around at night don't eat them.
I got myself a physics help book. It's a summary-of-topics kind of thing.
Heh, M. Boon's writings always make me laugh. "And ultimately, how am I going to celebrate my 18th birthday? I'm thinking of booking a suite or a bungalow chalet, but what are all my friends going to do other than drink?" What immoral debauchery! Hahahahahahaha.
Qingwei scribbled the first two lines of this on the class board I think.
Phantom Of The Opera - All I Ask Of You Lyrics
No more talk of darkness,
forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
my words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom,
let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
to guard you and to guide you.
Christine
Say you'll love me ev'ry waking moment;
turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always;
promise me that all you say is true,
that's all I ask of you.
Raoul
Let me be your shelter,
let me be your light;
you're safe, no one will find you,
your fears are far behind you.
Christine
All I want is freedom,
a world with no more night;
and you, always beside me,
to hold me and to hide me.
Raoul
Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
let me lead you from you solitude.
Say you need me with you, here beside you,
anywhere you go, let me go too,
that's all I ask of you.
Christine
Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime.
Say the word and I will follow you.
Together
Share each day with me, each night, each morning.
Christine
Say you love me...
Raoul
You know I do.
Together
Love me, that's all I ask of you.
Anywhere you go let me go too
Love me...
that's all I ask of you.
Don't feel like saying any more. Bye.
