Heaven Yearns to Rupture

I decided on this for the 2nd submission. Why? I can't tell you. I don't know either. Somehow, it inspires a sad joy in me. Don't mind the corny title; I had to come up with something with H, Y, P and E in order.

Pretty busy at the moment. I almost feel like not writing about the senile man on the bus, but.

Okay, so I was taking the bus home, and then this old, rather scrawny Indian man came on the bus. Then, after the bus started, he promptly fell forward and nearly hit his back on a railing. He might never have been able to walk down the bus again if not for the timely action of the three, or four people seated near the entrance - they grabbed him and helped him back to his feet.

Not only was he too stingy to spare a thanks, he promptly started muttering at them in anger, and they tried to explain to him that he would have lost half his thick skull without their aid. Oh no, this man was perfectly able to stand on his own and wouldn't have lost a particle of pride if he had his face stuffed into the ground.

He enthroned himself in the seat behind the Indian driver and started mumbling berations loudly in Tamil about the driver's lack of automobile-piloting finesse. The driver kept turning around to stare at him angrily, but the irrepressible old curmudgeon continued gesticulating and cursing, until he got off about ten stops later.

I was quite relieved then. The bus had been ambling along until the old man got on. And then, it became a tarmac rocket. The bus driver started driving along with new aggression while being scolded non-stop.

And that's how I nearly lost my life in a traffic accident thanks to a nasty-tempered old man. Yawn. I lived to see another day. And now, I'm going to sleep. Haha
