I'm Hungry AGAIN.

No pictures. I don't have any new ones so this'll have to do.I'm hungry because I woke up at 12.30pm and my lunch is sitting on the table, but I decided to post first. It's 1.25pm now.

My sister is nibbling home-made raisin cookies made in someone else's home. My dad used some coupons to buy them from some funfair in her school.

I've never had home-econs lessons in my life. They sound fun.Still, I've been experimenting. I can clean and do a decent black-pepper crayfish, cheating a bit with bottled black-pepper sauce. I like cleaning crabs, the mud kind or the swimming crabs. I tend to squish prawn heads. I once tried to clean a catfish that I caught on a fishing trip. But I accidentally ruptured the gall bladder or the shit bag and it stank to high heaven. Mistake!

I've never touched chicken. Probably 'cause they're too expensive for mistakes. The most I've done with pork is to mince or whack it with the blunt knife edge till it's soft enough for frying.I like making scrambled eggs with two eggs and ham or bacon bits. Adding a bit of milk to the egg mixture makes it fluffier.

I tried baking bread in a small, unsuitable oven twice. The first time, I was doing quite well with making the dough and the yeast was working and all. It was quite good if I say so myself. 90% was edible once we'd scraped off the carbon on the outside. LOL. The texture was a bit coarse though. The second time, I tried making four small pieces of bread instead and ended up with four blocks of charcoal. Oops.

I'm fine with desserts. I can do a rather chewy muah-chee, cheating with pre-ground peanuts. I managed bubur hitam without the coconut milk. Almond Jelly's very easy, but it tastes more like water when I've added too much. Most desserts use pandan syrup. It's quite fun to add sugar to the boiling pandan water till it's saturated.

I'm sounding like an auntie. Better go eat now. Bye.
