Of Diving and Being Cuffed on the Ear by Grandma/Grandpa?

Hm. Thought this was funny. The whole dignity of ol' Stamford has been stripped away by that water-droplet sniggering away in the background.

Gave up on my pencil case. It's been swiped with no chance of return. I'm now using an F2 generation pencil case (expression stolen from KW). It's almost identical to the original, with a new mechanical pencil or two. I had to get a new calculator. Oh well. After moping for a night and a day, I decided that it was just a pencil case. I've gotten over it. And finally! By chance, I found someone who can lend me Chrno Crusade. yay.

A moth flew into a room in my house this morning. It flew and whacked the fluorescent light a few times, then assaulted my shirt, hair and ear, before it settled itself on a cupboard. Sometimes, people claim that moths are spirits of the dead returning. I wonder if Grandma or Grandpa took a fancy to giving me a beating.

Don't you find looking through the windows of flats at night interesting? From the MRT sailing along the rail, I watched the HDB flats flutter by. Being lit from within and outside dark, I could see the inside quite clearly. Blue windows, green glass, beige walls, television set. I wonder how other people live?

I once tried applying for a Basic Diving course under NCC conducted by the Navy. Somehow, my application got lost along the way. What a pity. It's not like Singapore has glassy, pure waters, but the ability to dive would be fun. One day, I'll hover along the sea bed, watching the anemones swish and swirl, the barracuda shoals circling the region. Untouchable by misery.
