Play Tragic Music As You Read This

Haih. I got back Chemistry and General Paper today.

I shall be brutally frank with myself and admit that I did much worse for Chemistry than expected. I thought that I could at least scrounge up a B or A but nooooooooooooooo... the paper came back with a big devastating D. There goes the chance for a Chem S-paper. I missed loads of key points.

Mr. Cheapskate and Hongkonger were shocking, joint topping the class for the subject. The news shocked the class and shocked them too. Hahahahahaha. But they deserved their marks. Cheapskate is consistently hardworking and smart and Hongkonger is smart and seasonally hardworking near exam-time and extremely lazy at others. Matt. was quite miserable about his Chem grade because it meant that he couldn't do S-papers and he had been working super hard for it so it was kind of understandable that he cried a bit.

I stewed for a while moodily being gloomy over my marks. Then Hongkonger helped me try to look for marks in my paper, because I only needed 1.5 to up-grade. Later, I was thinking that it was a complete lost cause begging for marks but I just asked anyway. Then Chem laoshi was all like, no, no, cannot, when I asked for marks for a certain question. But I continued pestering then she took a closer look and suddenly said, "Eh! This is actually correct because of the units!" Because you see, I got the working for gas partial pressure wrong. But then my stupidity didn't end there and I wrote the wrong units too, atm instead of kPa. And in this case, the working would be correct for the units of atm. Hallelujah!

So, heng arh, I could go have lunch more cheerfully. Then gah, when we got to the canteen, the stalls were all running out of food. As if those who don't score As don't get to eat. I got the last plate of rice at the Malay stall and Hongkonger and another classmate behind me had to go buy small snacks instead. I gave them half a chicken wing each lol because HKer helped me find the marks to upgrade my grade and the other classmate got upgraded to C too so I was in a good mood.

G.P. was okay. I did reasonably well, around expectations. I don't know the final score that factors in coursework yet though, which is a bit irritating because I know I haven't been doing regular term-work properly. We've been trying to run off to the canteen all the time. Next year must do G.P. properly.

I was thinking of trying to sms Bio Laoshi to ask about my bio grade because Bio is a bit of a wildcard for me and I'm not sure how I did, since I revised very little for it and relied on what I remembered from lessons. And I haven't been doing Bio homework.

Ahhh this is a bad topic and I don't want to talk about it again until I get my other marks back. I'm getting fed-up with typing about this.
